Swami Dhyan Giten’s coming new book:

The Way, The Truth and The Life

 – On Jesus, the Man, the Mystic and the Rebel

”Through understanding meditation, I can understand Jesus. I can understand the innocence, beauty, silence and truth of Jesus.

Jesus is the way, the truth and the life, but the way has to be walked.

The Bible and Jesus disciples have totally misunderstood what Jesus really was doing during 40 days in silence in the desert.

He was meditating in the desert, which is the way to discover the inner being, the kingdom of God, which is the whole message of Jesus.”

– Swami Dhyan Giten

The book is a compilation of Giten’s lectures on Jesus Christ during satsang between May-July, 2015, in Stockholm

Giten complements the lectures on Jesus with The Art of Living, which includes practical meditation exercises.

In a past life, Giten was a disciple of Jesus.

Brage Norin, professor in theoretical physics, international researcher in climate change and representative for the Swedish Energy Commission to China, has agreed to write the forword to the book. Brage Norin says: “I am moved to write the foreword to Giten’s new book. The words that Giten formulate can make anyone mentally stunned.  These words create an inner silence – and a deep spiritual wonder for life.”

GITEN ON

THE ART OF LIVING

From Satsang, May 15, 2015

The Art of Living is to be yourself.

The Art of Living is to trust yourself.

The Art of Living is to learn to love and accept yourself.

The Art of Living is to be true to yourself.

Meditation is the way to learn The Art of Living.

The Art of Living is learning to live with love, awareness and truth.

Being is you. To discover your being is the beginning of life.

You can live in two ways:

1. Ego – effort and desire and

 2. Being – no-effort, being in a let go with existence.

Rgeligion is The Art of Living.

5 keys to The Art of Living:

1. Be life-affirmative. Life is synonymous with God.

Live with reverence, great respect and gratitude for life.

Feel thankful and prayerful.

2. Make life an heartful, easthetic experience.

Become more sensitive, sensous and creative – and you will become more spiritual.

3. Experience life in all possible ways.

Experience all dualities and polarities of life: good/bad, bitter/sweet, summer/winter, happiness/sadness and life/death.

Do not be afraid of experience, because the more experienes you have, the more spiritually mature you become.

4. Live in the present.

Forget the past and the future – this moment is the only reality.

This moment has to become your whole love, life and death.

5. Live courageously.

Do not become too result-oriented, because result-orinted people miss life.

Do not think of goals, because goals are in the future – and life is in the moment, in the here and now.

Giten on Jesus: Repent – For the Kingdom of God is at hand

GITEN ON JESUS

From Satsang, May 21, 2015

REPENT:

FOR THE KINGDOM OF GOD

IS AT HAND

“The whole message of John the Baptist and Jesus Christ are: Repent: For the Kingdom of God is at hand.

But this message has been terrible misunderstood by the priests and the Christians.

It is almost the same kind of people that crucified Jesus, which founded Christianity.

The symbol for Christianity has also become the cross on which Jesus was crucified, which is a bit morbid.

When you do not repent, your eyes will be filled with this world: the world of possession, the world of greed, the world of anger and hate, the world of ego and the world of hatred.

Your eyes has to be completely cleansed before you can see the Kingdom of God.

Repentance will open the door to God, to the divine.

What does it mean to repent? Repentance does not mean to ask to be forgiven for making a mistake. This will not change you, it will not transform you.

What John the Baptist and Jesus Christ mean by repentance is something totally different. They mean to look to the very roots of your being, of your existence. It is not about asking to repent for a specific act, it is about changing the whole quality of your being.

It is about returning to your original  being. Jesus says that the Kingdom of God is within you. The Kingdom of God is to return to your deepest core of being, which transforms you.

It is to stand naked before God.”

Satsang with Giten on Jesus Christ continues on Thursday evening in Stockholm until the second week of July.

Giten’s birthday on May 15 was celebrated with satsang, the initiation of a new meditation center, Amarone Valpolicella wine and delicious Hazelnut Truffles
Giten’s birthday on May 15 was celebrated with an appreciated lecture on Jesus Christ. Giten also talked about the Art of Living and gave 5 keys to The Art of Living

Giten also initiated Sangeet Meditation Center in Orebro, a bright university town in Sweden, where Giten’s ambassador in Orebro, Deva Emanuel, will run the centre. In the initiation for Sangeet, Giten talked about the relationship betwen meditation and music (see an excerpt below).

Giten received Amarone Valpolicella wine and delicious Haxelnut Truffles, which seemed very relevant when talking about Jesus, who loved life and who loved to drink wine and to feast.

The evening ended with 30 minutes of silent satsang, where a deep silence developed.

Lech Dulny,

vice head of the School for the Arts in
Stockholm, which organizes courses in music, theatre,
dance, art, media and dramatic arts in Stockholm, and who has attended satsang with Giten regularly, also appeared for satsang, and enjoyed Giten’s lecture on Jesus Christ. He commented that he appreciated the satsang evenings with Giten, and that he would participate in more satsangs on Jesus Christ.

Ari, a new participant in satsang, said that the satsang with Giten was a strong experience and that he really did not know how to melt this experience. Giten commented that one part of the satsang is possible to understand, but that another part is not possible to understand with the mind – and that it requires trust to understand that part.

Music and meditation are two aspects of the same phenomenon

Meditation is the art of hearing the inner silence, the inner music.

Without music, meditation lacks joy. Without meditation, music lacks the inner silence.

When music carries a meditative quality, it will bring silence, it will fill you with silence.”

Giten on

The Art of Death

From satsang, April 30, 2015

“To be able to die consciously, we need to prepare for death while we are still living.

Only if we live consciously, we can die consciously.

Only a meditator is able to die consciously as life is an opportunity to prepare for death.

Meditation is a death, a death of the ego.

Death is not in opposition of life, death is the finale, the crescendo of life. How we die shows us how we have been living.

Death is not an end, death is a new beginning, a new life.”

A Book for Life: Swami Dhyan Giten’s book “Presence – Working from Within: The Psychology of Being”

Presence, lulu, ebok

A BOOK FOR LIFE: SWAMI DHYAN

 GITEN’S BOOK “PRESENCE –

 WORKING FROM WITHIN.

THE PSYCHOLOGY OF BEING”

“Presence – Working from Within” is more than a book about presence, but a manual in the art of unlocking the Soul’s Presence within the Personality.”

 – Eric Rolf, American therapist and author of the book “Soul Medicine”,

former consultant to John Lennon

Spiritual therapy works basically because we are all one. In the depth of our heart and being, we are in contact with each other. We are in contact with each other in the ocean of consciousness.

This book is an invitation to open our heart. This book is basically about love. It is designed to help us understand how healing happens.

Healing is pure love. Healing and wholeness happens when we meet the love within ourselves. Spiritual therapy is about love – what love is, where to find it and how to develop the capacity to share love, to give caring. This book is an invitation to people, who are interested in spiritual therapy and healing and wants to work with people from love, truth and wholeness.

Working with people from love, truth and wholeness is the psychology of being, the science of inner transformation. The psychology of being begins where Western psychology ends. It goes beyond Skinner, Freud, Jung, Rogers and Humanistic psychology. The psychology of being is the psychology of consciousness, a psychology for inner transformation. It is basically not a question of psychology; it is a question of being. The psychology of being begins where we are and takes us to that which we can be.

The psychology of being takes us through the layers of personality of thoughts, feelings and learnt attitudes to our inner being, which is hidden deep within us. The inner being is a deep acceptance of ourselves as we are. The inner being is to be available to life. The inner being is to be one with life. This book is an invitation to discover the inner being, our inner source of love, joy, acceptance, humour, truth, freedom, wisdom, silence, creativity and oneness with life.

This book is designed to help us develop our presence, so that our presence and intuition becomes a source of love, joy, acceptance, understanding, truth, silence, wisdom and creativity in the contact with another person. This book presents a new dimension of healing with a base in meditation. Meditation is the way to deepen our capacity to be present and to explore how to bring the meditative presence and quality into the healing and therapeutic process. he underlying theme of the book is meditation – but not meditation as a static technique – but as the capacity to BE with ourselves and with another person in a quality of watchful awareness, acceptance and relaxation.

This book is written both for people who want to discover their own inner being and for those who work with other people and wants to discover a new love, clarity, depth and inspiration in their professional work. The different topics of the book are combined with practical exercises.

Giten on Jesus

Giten Christmas Card

Giten on Jesus

from Satsang, May 7, 2015

“When I speak about Jesus Christ, I do not speak about Christianity.

Christianity has basically nothing to do with Jesus. The spirit of Christ can not be organized. Then it will not liberate you.

Christ is the very essence of religion. Christ is the culmination of all human aspirations. In Christ all the aspirations of humanity are fulfilled.

Christ celebrates life, he loves life, he is a song and a dance. He is also transcendental. When you come closer to him, you will find that his inner being is transcendence. You will meet the unknown, where the world disappears and God appears.

You can trust him, because he is like you. He is part of your suffering, pain and sorrow, but he is also transcendental.  That is why Jesus became a mile stone in the history of human consciousness.

Jesus lived and loved with truth and grace. Jesus being was truth and grace. Whenever truth is there, grace is there. And whenever grace is there, truth is there.

To come closer to Jesus, you have to find your own inner being, the kingdom of God. That is the whole message of Jesus.

Then you will find that God is eternal. God is the whole existence. His creativity is eternal.

God is creativity. God is not a person. God is existence, being. God is the energy that underlies all life, which is in the stones, in birds, in animals, in human beings and in the stars.”

26-YEAR OLD INMATE IN A SWEDISH PRISON BEGAN TO MEDITATE IN THE CELL AFTER READING GITEN’S BEST-SELLING BOOK “SONG OF MEDITATION”
Giten’s Swedish publisher forwarded a letter from a reader of his first book in Swedish, “Song of Meditation – About Meditation, Relationships and Spiritual Creativity”.

The letter was from a 26 year old man in a Swedish prision, who wrote that the prison librarian unexpectingly had recommended him to read “Song of Meditation”. He wrote that reading the book had inspired him to stop taking drugs and began meditating in the cell.

It is always fascinating to hear in what strange and mysterious ways that “Song of Meditation” is singing it’s song to the hearts of people.”, says Giten.

I was 9 years old when I had my first spiritual awakening, my first glimpse of wholeness with Existence, my first taste of the language of silence, says spiritual teacher and best-selling author Swami Dhyan Giten in this book. This created a deep thirst and longing in his heart and being to return to this natural and effortless experience of being one with the Whole.

I have always had the capacity to go within myself and to discover the silence within, the inner meditative quality, the inner source of love and truth, the inner language of silence, Giten explains in this book. Now I also notice that this silence is going deeper, and that I go beyond the ego and disappear into the silence.

This book consists of a collection of quotes from Swami Dhyan Giten on silence. It also explains how silence is the flower and love and wholeness are the fragrance.

Swami Dhyan Giten has dedicated his life to teach the art of awareness and meditation. He conducts individual consultations, seminars and courses internationally. His quotes, articles and books has touched the hearts of thousands and are appearing with increasing frequency in magazines, blogs and websites.

“As I started studying for Giten, a new dimension of awareness has developed step by step, which has transformed my whole life. Thank you so much Giten for your wonderful being and support in life.”

– From the foreword by Emanuel Sjogren, musician and student of Giten since 5 years.

“While reading this book which is formatted in short segments and insightful phrases and a true delight to read and sure to later re-visit, I had the sense of listening to his open heart as it gave words to his personal silence. Giten offers us a quite intimate connection with his inner being and thus a glimpse of the beauty within ourselves.”
