ENLIGHTENMENT IS YOUR NATURE: THE PATH TO ENLIGHTENMENT

Satsang with Giten during November, December and January 2021: Ten Thursday evenings in Stockholm

Four satsang weekends with Giten during October, November, December and January 2021

“Giten is real. Authentic on his way and self. A loving man, who knows the science of truth, love and life.

– Prem Pathik, India

“Satsang with Giten is a taste of the eternal, a taste of the timeless. It can feel like we sat for 3 hours, while we only sat for 40 minutes.

I was so afraid that I would lose the silence that I had found during satsang in India, but I found the silence again in satsang with Giten. Samadhi is like dying. The fear that I experienced in the beginning in satsang when I went into samadhi, when I disappeared into the silence, has now disappeared totally.

Satsang with Giten is like coming home. I went into samadhi three times during a satsang weekend with Giten – and I also got a map and an understanding for how to go into samadhi again.

Before I started to attend satsang, I did not think that enlightenment was possible, but now I feel that it is possible.  Satsang with Giten confirms what I have really always known.

I never thought that samadhi was possible, but in satsang with Giten, samadhi is knocking on the door.”

– Padma

”While I cannot express enough how grateful I am to receive your paintings, please know I sincerely appreciate your kindness and good thought. There are so many people in this world who are in keen need of your energies that, in keeping with The Kindness Chain, I ask you to consider sharing your goodwill with them in the future.”

– Oprah, The Oprah Winfrey Show,USA

2-4 October, 1700:-

ENLIGHTENMENT IS YOUR NATURE

An invitation to the sincere seeker of truth

Man can live in two ways: the natural way and the unnatural way. The natural person is the enlightened person. To be natural is to be enlightened. Enlightenment is a state of being natural.

People become enlightened only when they have discovered their original source; when they have become natural they are enlightened. Enlightenment is to be ordinary, to be nobody, to be natural.

Enlightenment is a simple process: it is just becoming your authentic self, your authentic being. And it is so luminous that in its light all darkness and all doubt disappears. Enlightenment is simply a process of discovering yourself. Enlightenment is nothing but the discovery of our original face – the essential reality you brought with you, and the essential reality you will have to take with you when you die. And this original face is luminous, because it is part of eternal life. And a tremendous insight arises that you are not separate from existence.

In this satsang weekend, Giten offers a radically different view of enlightenment, freed from all spiritual and religious beliefs.

In this satsang weekend, Giten takes the participants step by step through the history of how both East and West have approached the mysteries of the human mind and spirituality.

In this satsang weekend, Giten takes us through this experience of letting go of identification, which allows us to get a direct insight and experience of what a life of enlightenment can be.

In 1982, when Giten was 23 years old, he was directed by the Divine presence in a trance session with the American trance chancellor Lin David Martin: “You have listened to your intuition, to your true inner voice, more than most. You have been searching for the contact with the Spirit for a long time and now it is beginning to manifest on the outer plane. You have been gifted many times in previous embodiments and now everything will come rather easy for you. I want you to put your energy into the lives of others, because you can.”

A spiritual teacher, who has counseled thousands of people, told Giten in 1984: “You will dissolve into the silence. All the earlier enlightened Masters and all the small Deva’s are just here to help you to get enlightened.

Topics in the course:

– What is enlightenment?

– The six steps to enlightenment

– Peeling the onion of Personality

– Waking up from the Dream

This satsang weekend is supported by silent satsang with Giten, which is a direct insight and realization of being. It is a direct realization to be a light to yourself.

Satsang with Giten during November, December and January 2021: Ten Thursday evenings in Stockholm, 1700:-

6-8 November, 1700:-

AWAKENING: The three Steps to Enlightenment

The Language of Silence:

The Art of Meditation

Awareness is the Key. Waking up or awakening means that the dream is over – the dream of unconsciousness we all spend most of our lives in – often a life of tensions, anguish, feeling unfulfilled and running after illusions which are just substitutes of what we are really looking for.

In this satsang weekend, Giten takes us through the three steps on the path to awakening, steps to help us to get out of our conditioning, our limitations and frustrations. There are only three steps: freedom of consciousness, simplicity of mind, and emptiness of mind.

For freedom of thought, for liberation of thought, and for the awakening of intelligence, the first thing, the first awareness that is needed is: “No thought is mine. No thought is mine.”

In this satsang weekend, Giten takes us through this experience of letting go of identification, which allows us to get a glimpse what a life of awakening can be.

4-6 December, 1700:-

The Psychology of the Buddhas, The Science of the Soul

In this satsang weekend, Giten offers a simple science of consciousness that he calls the psychology of the Buddha’s, the Science of the Soul. It is a science that in very clear terms shows how one can, through awareness and taking full responsibility for one’s life, go beyond all limited belief systems, habits, and superstitions of the mind. That process, he says, brings us back to our nature – and that is enlightenment.

Modern psychology studies the mind as an object, from the outside. The soul is completely denied by modern psychology.  Modern psychology tries to understand the mind, not to go beyond it, because psychologists think there is no beyond the mind. The psychology of the Buddhas is a psychology that is based in meditation, to understand from within, where the whole interest is how to get out of the prison of the mind, how to use the structure of the mind to get beyond it.

In this satsang weekend, Giten takes us through this experience of letting go of identification, which allows us to get a direct insight and experience of what a life of enlightenment can be.

15 – 17 January, 2021, 1700:-

NIRVANA – THE LAST NIGHTMARE

Nirvana and enlightenment has become associated with an altered state of consciousness to be hoped for, but likely unattainable, reinforcing that all too familiar uneasiness associated with never being able to have what we truly desire in life.

In this satsang weekend, Giten unravels and reveals the meaning of nirvana and enlightenment. By absorbing without judgment and evaluation, making a decision without worrying if it is the right one, or surrendering to each moment, it is possible to come to a point where we simply drop through the manifestations of the ego. In that moment, living an ordinary life becomes an extraordinary delight.

In this satsang weekend, Giten takes us through this experience of letting go of identification, which allows us to get a direct insight and experience of what a life of enlightenment can be.

SWAMI DHYAN GITEN

SWAMI DHYAN GITEN, spiritual teacher and best-selling author, has more than 30 years of experience in individual counseling and in teaching awareness and meditation. He is trained in modern psychology at the University of Stockholm, where the head teacher at the psychological institution called Giten “the salt of the earth”, and a classmate said that Giten “did not move an inch from who he is”. He is also trained in classic Eastern methods for awareness and meditation in the USA, Italy, Sweden and India.

Giten experienced his first satori, his first glimpse of spiritual awakening, when he was 9 years old. This created a deep thirst and longing in his heart and being to return to this natural and effortless experience of being one with the Whole.

Giten’s first spiritual ashram when he was 15 years old was Ljusbacken (The Hill of Light) in beautiful Halsingland in the north of Sweden, and he was a student of the living spiritual teacher Osho, but he does not belong to any spiritual group or tradition; he is only interested to explore what it means to live with open eyes.

All the earlier enlightened Masters and all the small Deva’s are just here to help you to get enlightened.”

Swami Dhyan Giten has dedicated his life to teach the art of awareness and meditation. He conducts individual consultations and satsangs internationally. His quotes, articles and books have touched the hearts of thousands and are appearing with increasing frequency in magazines, blogs and websites.

He is author of the best-selling book in Swedish “Meditationens  Sång – Om meditation, relationer och andlig kreativitet” (Solrosens forlag, 2001, available from Internet book store Adlibris: www.adlibris.com), and “The Silent Whisperings of the Heart – An Introduction to Giten’s Approach to Life” (2008, available as paperback at Internet book store Lulu.com: www.lulu.com/spotlight/Giten), Presence – Working from Within. The Psychology of Being (2011, available as paperback at Internet book store Lulu:www.lulu.com/spotlight/Giten) and “The Language of Silence – From Darkness to Light” (available in paperback at Lulu.com: www.lulu.com/spotlight/Giten). His latest book has just been published, “Silence is the Way: The Teachings of Buddha” (available at Lulu: www.lulu.com/spotlight/Giten)

“Giten’s book “Meditationens Sång” is one of my favorite books. Giten’s fine book has meant a lot to me. I found it when I needed it the most – or maybe it found me…?”

Claudia Parvati Berghaus, counsellor and psychotherapist, Sahlgrenska University Hospital, Gothenburg
