Satsang with Swami Dhyan Giten during the winter 2014 in Stockholm: Tao – The Way of Love, Happiness and Wholeness

TAO

– The Way of Love, Happiness, and Wholeness

Satsang with Giten on Thursdays during November, December 2014

and January 2015 in Stockholm

Satsang with Giten is an opportunity for a direct insight and realization of being.

Satsang is teaching by silence, and during this Satsang series during the winter 2014 in Stockholm, Giten will talk about Tao, the ancient Chinese path to love, happiness and wholeness. Tao is simple spontaneity, living life according to nature, which emphasises teaching by silence.

Only through silence, the truth can revealed. Only in silence, the truth can be transferred. During these Satsang evenings, Giten will talk about the Chinese Taoist mystics to ignite the flame of individual awareness and insight.

Tao emphasizes hollowness and wholeness. To be empty inside, to be hollow, is the meaning of meditation.

If you can be nourished even by emptiness, you are in touch with the eternal.

During this Satsang series we will explore Taoistic concepts both intellectually and existentially like the difference between the personality, the psychological “I”, and the inner being, the authentic self, the inner meditative quality, the inner silence and emptiness.

We will also explore the difference between being somebody and being a hollow bamboo, a nobody, and the difference between swimming against the current of the river of life, and simply floating with the river of life, just accepting life as it is – the essence of Tao.

These Satsang evenings begin with a lecture by Giten on Tao, and will end in silent Satsang.

Previous experience of meditation is recommended.

1-Day-Satsang-intensive with Giten

Saturday, December 6,

10.00 AM – 18.00 PM

“Satsang with Giten was totally wonderful!”

– Toshen, Stockholm

“It is so rare with this kind of silence.”

Prem Kalyani, musician and accomplished violin player, participant in Satsang with Giten

“Giten gave me life back. An awakening. I have seen the beauty in life, and I know that that this is the way.

I like Giten a lot. He is fantastic. The presence and impact he has on people. His wisdom and humor.”

– Prem Mukta, Stockholm

“In some moments, I realize what an incredible opportunity Satsang with Giten is, and in other moments I fall back to the unawareness and sleep of the mind. I had never dared to take the step to participate in Satsang with Giten if there was not such a love. Since I began to study for Giten, a new dimension of awareness has developed step by step, which has transformed my whole life.”

– Deva Emanuel , musician and student of Giten since 6 years

“Satsang with Giten is a rich and warm emptiness. I want to give Giten all love and my warmest thank you. Giten and the Satsang has given me so much. I have never been so close to happiness before. In many moments, life has become complete.”

– Prem Mukta, Stockholm

“The silent Satsang yesterday felt strong. Almost immediately when we sat down in silent Satsang, I was filled with an energy so strong that it felt like I was surrounded by an almost physical energy field. Satsang danced, it was living its own life. It felt ancient, powerful and beyond control. And in the middle of everything, a loud and wild laughter grow, which I had to fight to keep back. It felt like I would never stop laughing if I began. When Giten sounded the bell that the Satsang was over, I had to concentrate to come back in one piece, remind the body of the frame, remind the head of the room, of the here and now. After a while, it worked, and the effect was that I felt happy, calm and full of love after Satsang.

– Prem Mukta, Stockholm

“Even if I am not physically present on Satsang, I am always present in my heart every Thursday. I love these Thursdays.

– Prem Mukta, Stockholm

Satsang with Giten during the autumn 2014 in Stockholm: Buddha – The Emptiness of the Heart

Inituation, Toshen
SATSANG WITH GITEN
DURING THE AUTUMN 2014 IN STOCKHOLM:
BUDDHA – THE EMPTINESS OF THE HEART

“The inner emptiness is the door to God.”

– Swami Dhyan Giten

The Satsang series Buddha – The Emptiness of the Heart with Giten is an opportunity to discover the “empty heart,” beyond feelings and sentiment, the door to the inner Buddha, the door to God, that exists within ourselves.

Giten will also talk about The New Man, who develops all the three dimensions of being, all three doors to God: head,  the dimension of thinking, logic and reason, heart – the dimension of  joy, trust, intuition, relationships and a sense of unity in love and being – the dimension of meditation, silence, emptiness and oneness with life.

.“I have always had the capacity to go within myself and to discover the silence within, the inner meditative quality, the inner source of love and truth – the inner language of silence. Now I also notice that this silence is going deeper, and that I go beyond the ego and disappear into the silence.

First this brought up fear, but now I am enjoying this meditation of disappering into the silence and to be nobody. I have started experimenting with this phenomenon to understand how to consciously go beyond the ego: yesterday when I took a cofee at a restaurant, I consciously turned my attention within and disappeared into the silence, which was like finding an inner source of bliss.

In aloneness, I experiment with being consciously alone as a door to be egoless. In conscious aloneness, the ego can not function. In aloneness, your are not. When I am walking, I consciously experiment with being with Existence without having the mind constantly commenting. I try to just be wordlessly with the people and situations that I meet on my walk.

When I can just be with Existence, it opens the door to be one with the Whole.”

– Swami Dhyan Giten,
From the book “The Language of Silence”.

SWAMI DHYAN GITEN, spiritual teacher and author, has more than 30 years of experience in individual counseling and in teaching awareness and meditation. He is trained in both modern psychology and in classic Eastern methods for awareness and meditation.

In 1982, when Giten was 23 years old, he was directed by the Divine presence in a trance session with the American trance chancellor Lin David Martin: “You have listened to your intuition, to your true inner voice, more than most. You have been searching for the contact with the Spirit for a long time and now it is beginning to manifest on the outer plane. You have been gifted many times in previous embodiments and now everything will come rather easy for you. I want you to put your energy into the lives of others, because you can”.

A spiritual teacher, who have counselled thousands of people, told Giten in 1984: “You will dissolve into the silence. All the earlier enlightened Masters and all the small Deva’s are just here to help you to get enlightened.”

He is author of the best-selling book “Meditationens Sång” (Swedish edition, www.adlibris.se), “The Silent Whisperings of the Heart”, “Presence – Working from within. The Psychology of Being” and “The Language of Silence: From Darkness to Light” (available at Lulu.com).

“The silent Satsang yesterday felt strong. Almost immediately when we sat down in silent Satsang, I was filled with an energy so strong that it felt like I was surrounded by an almost physical energy field.
I almost felt like I was going to levitate, like the energy was so compact that I could not sit still on the floor. It was like the Satsang danced, it was living its own life. It felt ancient, powerful and beyond control.
And in the middle of everything, a loud and wild laughter grow, which I had to fight to keep back. It felt like I would never stop laughing if I began.

The Fragrance of Satsang

The Fragrance of Satsang
The Satsang participant Lotta Hallin shared an experience when she recently sat and waited in the waiting room of a medical office. When she waited she turned within herself to the same inner quality, which she has found during Satsang with Giten.
She said that suddenly the receptionist of the medical office had approached her and told her that she had a silence and calm that made the receptionist calm herself.

Giten Devotion Meditation: Love, Devotion, Freedom

Giten + Toshen-bild

Giten and his beloved friend Toshen

in blissful oneness without barrier

Giten Devotion Meditation

The consequence of love and devotion are freedom.

The are two basic types of people: the intellectually and scientifically oriented people and the heart oriented, emotion oriented and poetically oriented people.

This meditation is for the heart oriented people, the feeling type.

In love and devotion, the other person becomes more important than yourself.

This is basically a matter of trust.

The intellectual type can not trust anybody. He cannot trust.

In order to understand devotion, you must first understand love.

Logic and mind always remains ego-centered, but on the path of the heart, the other becomes important, the other becomes real.

if your love becomes so intense that you forget yourself completely, you have reached to devotion.

Love is the first step, only then can devotion flower.

If your love grows deeper, the other becomes more and more significant.

This total feeling of love, this total surrender, this losing of oneself into the other, is transformation, which creates devotion.

The ego dissolves when the other becomes so important that you disappear, you are no more.

When the love becomes more important than you, you can die for him or her.

The other has become the meaning of your love.

If you can make love a meditation to transform yourself, you begin to have glimpses of devotion.

In devotion, you surrender yourself totally.

If you can allow yourself to dissolve for the other, you will be transformed.

Devotion is freedom.

If you dissolve, the beloved will be everywhere. You will find the beloved in the flowers, in the trees, in the stars and in the open sky.

Spring Always Comes: Satsang with Giten during the spring in Stockholm

“Giten gave me life back. An awakening. I have seen the beauty in life, and I know that that this is the way.

On the Satsang evening on April 17, Giten lectured about the two types of love, ordinary love and being-love, and about the four indications of love. The Satsang evening ended with 30 minutes of silent Satsang, where a deep silence developed.
The lecture was recorded live and will be available for free download.
During Satsang on Thursday, April 2, Giten was attacked with aggressiveness and judgemental projections in a planned attack by two persons. This attack on Giten was basically about power, which was like going from light to darkness in Satsang.
Power is a crucial pont in all spiritual movements – and power is an almost constant unconscious state in politics, business and in society at large.
This attack lowered Giten’s level of joy, satisfaction and creativity, which made Satsang take a pause on Thursday, April 10. Giten also discussed this attack with the Satsang participant Toshen, whose immediate response was: “Continue with Satsang. You are doing a great work.”
Toshen also commented that spiritual movements need to go beyond power conflicts to be able to work for the light. She also said that this attack on Giten was only ridicolous.
Giten felt that it would be a mistake to allow this power attack to affect Satsang, since Satsang is needed in these transformative times in the world, which is about a shift from power to heart, from ego to light.
Hello Giten! I just wanted to send this mail and thank you for your newsletters, and wish you all luck in your continued work with the light of love.
You do a fantastic pioneer work when you show people the way!”

Awakening: Satsang Intensive with Swami Dhyan Giten, February, 15, in Stockholm

Awakening:

Satsang Intensive with

Swami Dhyan Giten

February, 15, 2014

Awakening: Satsang Intensive med Swami Dhyan Giten is an invitation, which can bring light on your path to inner awakening. Giten helps us to see what stands in the way of being in contact with our authentic inner being. It is an invitation to rediscover our authentic inner being, the inner silence and emptiness, the inner source of love and truth, the capacity to surrender to life.

This Satsang Intensive also works as a prolonged shaktipat (transmission of spiritual energy), which both creates immediate result – together with effect that becomes obvious during the coming weeks and months after the intensive. When Giten pursued an advanced training in spiritual healing in USA 1984, he was told that he had the capacity to become a seventh chakra healer, a spiritual healer, to act as a catalyst and channel for spiritual energy from the seventh chakra through the heart. The last 30 years has meant to develop and deepen this capacity to an instrument of subtle catalytic effect, which Giten uses in this Satsang intensive.

All are welcome to this journey towards inner awakening. This Satsang Intensive is a gift to ourselves on our way to spiritual awakening.

“I felt an immediate “yes” to Awakening with Giten.

Satsang with Giten was totally wonderful! Awakening with Giten was very strong.”

Toshen, beloved friend of Giten since many lives

“In some moments, I realize what an incredible opportunity Satsang with Giten is, and in other moments I fall back to the unawareness and sleep of the mind. I had never dared to take the step to participate in Satsang with Giten if there was not such a love.”

Emanuel Sjogren, musician and student of Giten since 5 years
“I could sit in Satsang with Giten on this sofa all night, but unfortunately I have to get up to work tomorrow –
but I think that this silence will affect people.”

White Roses and Crystals: Awakening: 1-Day Satsang Intensive with Swami Dhyan Giten, December, 14, in Stockholm

Swami Dhyan Giten

White roses and crystals:
Awakening: 1-Day Satsang Intensive
on December, 14
Awakening: 1-Day Satsang Intensive with Swami Dhyan Giten on Saturday, December, 14, in Stockholm began with Giten receiving beautiful white roses and an exquisite Agate crystal with Titan.
Giten began this 1-day intensive with talking about the first step of Buddha’s seven blessings. The first step of Buddha’s seven blessings is the blessing to be born as a human being, and that only humans has the great possibility, the great blessing, to become awakened, to become enlightened. Buddha also says that it is very easy to miss this great opportunity.
Giten could only take one sentence at a time, before questions and honest and truthful dialogues with participants happened. When Giten, after 45 minutes, commented that they had only managed to review one sentence since the last time, there was a long, loving laughter in the group.
The intensive included much laughter, humor and silence, and Giten used guidad meditation, questions and honest and truthful dialogue with participants, silent communion with nature, using ordinary daily activities for meditation, and silent Satsang meditation.
Giten continued to speak about Buddha’s seven blessings during the day, which created a framework for the day to explore the three levels of the human consciousness: the head, the heart and the inner being.
The head is the dimension of mind and intellect, of logic, reasoning and understanding, the heart is the dimension of love, trust, intuition, acceptance, humor, laughter and a sense of oneness in love, the inner being is the dimension of meditation, silence, emptiness, no-self and a oneness with life.
During the dialogue with participants, Giten recommended one participant to be aware of the conflict between following his own inner truth and his desire to be accepted by other people, and several participants laughed as they could recognize this conflict in themselves. With another participant, Giten talked about that she had a whole past life, where she was committed to meditation and silence, and that this intensive was her step back to the spiritual path. With a third participant, Giten said that a daily structure of daily meditation would help her to find a balance between the inner and outer world, between inner truth and outer satisfaction in life.

Giten commented during the last session of dialogues with participants that spontaneous moments of deep silence was beginning to occur in the group, which was a very good indication of being on the right track.
This 1-Day Satsang Intensive ended with 30 minutes of silent Satsang, where Giten guided the participants to see how much they could allow themselves to just disappear into the silence, to allow the thoughts to vanish – and the last session was a sheer delight in a deep silence, a rejoicement and a resurrection.
Giten commented afterwards that he did not think that it was possible to accomplish this kind of trust to disappear into the silence in a 1-day intensive. Giten also commented that the large concepts of enlightenment, Samadhi, Moksha and truth are really a very small experience when we dissolve into the silence – and learn to live this silence moment to moment.
This Satsang Intensive ended with Giten informing the participants of the opening of The Mystery School with regular Satsang Intensives and weekends, and a Christmas celebration where Giten handed out Christmas gifts to the participants.
Satsang – A Meeting in Love, Truth and Silence with Giten will continue during the spring 2014 in Stockholm, and another 1-Day Satsang Intensive will be offered by The Mystery School in February.
