 – A Spiritual Healer

Darshan, satsang and a whole day on being a Ayurveda counsellor

Saturday, May 13, 2017
10 AM-18 PM in Stockholm

A loving invitation to Giten’s friends and sangha, who have participated in satsang with Giten before, to celebrate his birthday with darshan, satsang and a whole day about being an Ayurveda counsellor, a spiritual healer.
Darshan is a meeting with Giten, where he can talk informally with individuals and small groups of seekers of truth.

In darshan, Giten answers questions from seekers and gives initiation to seekers of truth.

An Ayurvedic counsellor is a spiritual healer, a spiritual friend, who has the knowledge of body, mind and consciousness.  The skillful Ayurvedic counsellor must enter into the heart of the client.

Ayurvedic counselling is an art and a science of providing guidance and motivation, balancing and healing the body, mind and consciousness. An Ayurvedic counsellor is a good teacher in the client-therapist-relationship.

The ultimate purpose of Ayurvedic counselling is to help the client to discover their own inner being, the meditative quality within, the inner silence and emptiness, the inner source of healing and wholeness.

An Ayurvedic counsellor who has awakened his energy and consciousness can heal by presence and touch.

During this day we will also investigate the following topics:

The qualities of a good counsellor

Living according to your Dharma,

Discovering your inner light

Disocering your inner source of bliss and happiness

Karma: Taking Control of your life

3. Only love can dispel hate

From Satsang with Giten on Buddha,November 12, 2015, in Stockholm

“Satsang weekend with Giten was like coming home. I went into samadhi three times during the satsang weekend – and I also got a map and an understanding for how to go into samadhi again.”

– Satyama Padma, participant in Satsang weekend with Giten, December 9-11, 2016, in Stockholm

Buddha says:

SPEAK OR ACT WITH AN IMPURE MIND

AND TROUBLE WILL FOLLOW YOU

AS THE WHEEL FOLLOWS THE OX THAT DRIVES THE CART

When Buddha uses the concept “impure mind”, he means mind.

Mind is impure, and no-mind is pure.

SPEAK OR ACT WITH AN IMPURE MIND means to speak or act from the mind.

AND TROUBLE WILL FOLLOW YOU means that misery and suffering is the result of the mind, because the mind means unawareness.

Mind will bring trouble and suffering as certain AS THE WHEEL FOLLOWS THE OX THAT DRIVES THE CART.

WE ARE WHAT WE THINK

ALL THAT WE ARE ARISES WITH OUR THOUGHTS

SPEAK OR ACT WITH A PURE MIND

AND HAPPINESS WILL FOLLOW YOU

AS YOUR SHADOW, UNSHAKABLE

When Buddha says “pure mind”, he means no-mind, awareness.

Happiness will follow you if you have a pure mind or no-mind.

Suffering is a result of mind, of unawareness, happiness is a result of no-mind, of awareness.

Happiness cannot be searched for directly, happiness can only be found if you do not search it directly.

On the contrary, you have to search for awareness.

When awareness comes, happiness comes of its own accord.

“LOOK HOW HE ABUSED ME AND BEAT ME,

HOW HE THREW ME DOWN AND ROBBED ME”

LIVE WITH SUCH THOUGHTS AND YOU LIVE IN HATE

“LOOK HOW HE ABUSED ME AND BEAT ME

HOW HE THREW ME DOWN AND ROBBED ME”

ABANDON SUCH THOUGHTS AND LIVE IN LOVE

Fear and hate exists in the past and the future, love exists in the moment, in the here and now.

Love exists in the present moment.

Fear and hate has a reference in the past.

Somebody has abused you in the past, and you are carrying it like a wound.

Fear and hate is a limitation. If you hate somebody, you also create a hate in the heart of that person towards you.

The world lives in fear, hate, destructiveness and violence.

Hate creates hell on earth, love creates a paradise on earth.

True love comes from your inner being.

It is spontaneously welling up of joy, which has nothing to do with the past or the future.

True love is in the moment.

IN THIS WORLD

HATE NEVER YET DISPELLED HATE

ONLY LOVE DISPELS HATE

THIS IS THE LAW

ANCIENT AND INEXHAUSTIBLE

Hate never dispels hate, darkness cannot dispel darkness.

Only love can dispel hate.

The eternal law is that only love dispels hate, only light dispels darkness.

Bring light into a room and the darkness disappears by itself.

How can you bring light into your own being?

Through becoming silent, aware, awake and conscious.

That is how to bring the light in.

The moment you are aware and awake, hate will not be found.

It is not possible to hate somebody with awareness.

You can only hate somebody in unawareness.

When you are conscious, hate disappears, when you are not conscious, then hate is there.

Love and hate, light and darkness, cannot exist together, because hate is the absence of love, darkness is the absence of light.

YOU TOO SHALL PASS AWAY

KNOWING THIS, HOW CAN YOU QUARREL

We waste our life in quarreling, in conflict, when life is so short.

Use your whole energy for awareness and meditation.

Then you can become a light.

Meditation will make you awake, because you will discover your inner being.

Meditation brings an awakening.

For the first time you will feel the truth of your own being.

Satsang with Giten on Buddha:

Bhumis – 10 Steps to Enlightenment

From satsang with Giten, February 4, 2016, in Stockholm

What are Bhumis? Buddha’s Way has ten Bhumis. Bhumi means ground, foundation or level of development.

The first Bhumi is attained when the meditator achieves his first insight into emptiness in meditation. With each of the ten Bhumis the meditator achieves deeper realization of emptiness in meditation.

Buddha has said that if you understand and practice these ten grounds, you will attain to the ultimate. The Bhumis are the Bodhisattva path to enlightenment.

1. PRAMU-GITA: The first Bhumi – Joyousness

The first Bhumi, the first ground, is joyousness.

Pramu-Gita means joyousness, delight, and celebration.

The first Bhumi is called Joyousness, because the meditator  also works at developing generosity, the first Paramita, the first of the ten provisions on the spiritual path. The ten Bhumis and the ten Paramitas are developed simultaneously.

People have thought that Buddha is a sad and pessimistic thinker, because he says that life is suffering, but he is not.

Buddha says: Unless you are joyous, you will never reach to truth.

Only joy can take you to truth.

Truth brings joy, truth brings happiness.

The first Bhumi means: to be joyous for no outer reason.

Ordinarily to be joyous has a reason, but if your joy has a cause, it will soon turn into unhappiness.

The first Bhumi is about joy without any cause, and then joy becomes your own source happiness, which nobody can take away.

Buddha says that the frist Bhumi is about the awareness, where you create joy and happiness for yourself.

FINDING YOUR OWN WAY:
SATSANG WITH GITEN ON BUDDHA

November 2015 – January 2016 in Stockholm

“WOW! There was much Buddha”

– Deva Emanuel, exclaimed when the satsang with Giten on October 1, 2015, in Stockholm went into the unknown, into the beyond, into the silence and emptiness without barriers

“When I participated in satsang with Giten for the first time, I felt that I had come to the right place. I fel that I had come home. I never thought that a 2-hour satsang could go so deep. The love that I found within myself during the satsang with Giten just continued for a week after the satsang.”

– Iiris, special teacher for autistic children and participant in satsang with Moji and Eckhart Tolle

Satsang with Giten on Buddha is not about Buddhism, it is about creating a bridge. Buddha is one of the most unique and important spiritual masters that has existed on earth.

Through using the wisdom of Buddha as a jumping board, Giten gives life to the words that have the force to change our way to see the world.

Satsang with Giten is a meeting in silence and truth. Satsang is a love, a meditation and an energy transference. Satsang is a direct insight and experience of our inner being, of our authentic self.

Satsang starts with a lecture by Giten, which is followed by 40 minutes of satsang with Giten in silence and meditation. During the satsangs during the spring there have arisen a deep silence and unity in the group.

During this series of satsangs on Buddha, Giten will clarify the steps on Buddha’s path to liberation: the path of awareness.

During this this series of satsang on Buddha, Giten will encourage us to use awareness, meditation and mindfulness to develop the natural disciplin that comes when we listen to ourselves. It is then that we find our own way.

This series of satsangs on Buddha is for everybody that seeks a new dimension of awareness in their lives.

If you can get a taste of his being, you will be immensely enriched and blessed.

In a past life, Giten was a spiritual counsellor in Potala, the palace of Dalai Lama in Lhasa in Tibet.

SWAMI DHYAN GITEN, spiritual teacher and best-selling author, has more than 30 years of experience in teaching awareness and meditation.

The Art of Living: The Art of Being Happy from Satsang with Giten, June 18, 2015, in Stockholm

Inituation, Toshen

The Art of Living:

The Art of Being Happy

From Satsang with Giten,

June 18, 2015, in Stockholm

The Art of Being Happy is the art of saying say to life. The whole message of Jesus is a total “yes” to life.

Whatsoever you do, do it happily.

Whatsoever you do, wherever you are, do not do anything unhappily.

Whatsoever happens, see out how you can find happiness in it.

If you know how to be happy, then even small things become great things.

Make being happy the art of living.

When you learn the art of being happy, it also begins to spread around you like the waves of the ocean.

To be happy do not mean to satisfy desires, it means to find the happiness of our being, the happiness of emptiness.

The Language of Silence – From Darkness to Light

by Swami Dhyan Giten (Goodreads Author)
The Language of Silence – From Darkness to Light
I was 9 years old when I had my first spiritual awakening, my first glimpse of wholeness with Existence, my first taste of the language of silence, says spiritual teacher and best-selling author Swami Dhyan Giten in this book. This created a deep thirst and longing in his heart and being to return to this natural and effortless experience of being one with the Whole.

I have always had the capacity to go within myself and to discover the silence within, the inner meditative quality, the inner source of love and truth, the inner language of silence, Giten explains in this book. Now I also notice that this silence is going deeper, and that I go beyond the ego and disappear into the silence.

This book consists of a collection of quotes from Swami Dhyan Giten on silence. It also explains how silence is the flower and love and wholeness are the fragrance.

Swami Dhyan Giten has dedicated his life to teach the art of awareness and meditation. He conducts individual consultations, seminars and courses internationally. His quotes, articles and books has touched the hearts of thousands and are appearing with increasing frequency in magazines, blogs and websites.

“Swami Dhyan Giten’s The Language of Silence — From Darkness to Light reminds me of those moments when we drift back from sleep to wakefulness and the precious insights that quite often occur in those instants of ”awakening.”

It is my own experience that all spiritual paths have a common thread which most simply stated is: unconditional self acceptance. It is this process or journey toward self acceptance that leads to our connection with our individual aloneness and silence about which Giten so beautifully often comments. Here Giten tells us we find our true heart, that love that becomes our healer and a healing presence that projects beyond ourselves and heals and nourishes the lives of all others with who we have contact, be they friends, strangers or even our pets.

Giten’s The Language of Silence is a beautifully expressed and highly intimate picture of his own spiritual history. While reading this book which is formatted in short segments and insightful phrases and a true delight to read and sure to later re-visit, I had the sense of listening to his open heart as it gave words to his personal silence.

Giten offers us a quite intimate connection with his inner being and thus a glimpse of the beauty within ourselves.”
