SATSANG WITH GITEN: THE UPANISHADIC VISION OF LIFE, November 2017 – January 2018, in Stockholm

SATSANG WITH GITEN: THE UPANISHADIC VISION OF LIFE

Satsang with Giten on the Upanishads began on Thursday, November 2.

“The Upanishadic vision of life is that the universe is an organic whole. We are all existing in a togetherness. The trees, the flowers, the stones, the birds, the mountains and the stars are all interlinked.
The part represents the whole. Nothing is lower, nothing is higher – all is one. The smallest blade of grass is connected with the farthest stars.”
– Swami Dhyan Giten, from satsang, November 2, 2017, in Stockholm

Satsang with Giten continues during the winter on Thursdays 19.00 – 21.00 PM in Stockholm

– Satyama Padma, Stockholm

“A wonderful satsang weekend with Giten. Giten do a fantastic work with satsang. Satsang with Giten is like satsang in India. Suddenly meditation is not dry and sterile, but an experience of love, silence and prayer, of being one with life.”

 – Satyama Padma, participant in satsang weekend with Giten, 8-10 september, in Stockholm

“Without Satsang with Giten, my life would not have found a real meaning.”

– Deva Emanuel, musician

“Satsang weekend with Giten was like coming home. I went into samadhi three times during the satsang weekend – and I also got a map and an understanding for how to go into samadhi again.”

  – Satyama Padma, participant in Satsang weekend with Giten, December 9-11, 2016, in Stockholm

The Upanishads are the essence of all religion. Really, they are not for the beginners, they are for those who have left the beginning far behind. They are for those who have been struggling for a long time – meditating, searching, inquiring. Only then can the Upanishads become helpful.

The Upanishads, the sacred writings of Vedic wisdom, predate recorded history. It is the first spiritual books written on this Earth. Since they were revealed to the Rishis, the enlightened masters, of the Vedic civilization some 5,000 to 10,000 years ago, many have come to regard them as perhaps the greatest of all the books in the history of world religions: the work that contains the kernel of the mystical and philosophical truths that form the basis of all religious thinking today.

The Upanishads are the most beautiful books ever written. The Upanishads includes both the path of meditation and the path of meditation which are the two paths to samadhi and enlightenment.  Giten will discuss The Upanishads in such a way that the reader can feel a sense of oneness beyond the apparent contradictions.

This satsang weekend with Giten is an introduction to the essentials of Vedic wisdom for blissful living and the eternal wisdom of the Vedic enlightened rishis. Giten will endeavor to explain not just the grand design of the universe, but also how the the teachings of the Upanishads can be used to lead a blissful life amid the present day chaos, stress and confusion.

The basis of this satsang weekend with Giten is a direct encounter with spirituality. There are no doctrines in it. Instead this satsang series is full of practical wisdom for those ready to embark on what has been called the journey to the source, to the source of their own being.

In this satsang weekend Giten takes the Upanishads and responds to it in a way that helps present-day seekers penetrate their unconscious and find the truth within themselves. This uncovering of the self is the ultimate alchemy.

In this satsang weekend Giten describes, step by step, the search within, the search for the essence, for what is divine within man. This essence is variously known as the self, the atman, the soul, in the ancient teachings of earlier Masters.
Giten says that he warn you in advance that to involve oneself in the teachings of the Upanishads is like playing with fire. An Upanishad cannot be understood without you also becoming transformed.
In understanding the Upanishads, doors will open to the most profound understanding known to the genius of man. The Upanishads is the secret of secrets, the mystery within all mysteries, the essence of essences.

Contained in this satsang weekend are many alchemical secrets—secrets of “the ultimate alchemy,” the alchemy of purifying man’s gross nature into the pure gold of cosmic consciousness. Many meditation techniques are shown along the way, many efforts to make us aware of our unconscious condition, the source of all our dis-ease.

Giten will also talk about Vedanta, which is the world’s oldest meditation path. Vedanta is the philosophy of self-realization and samadhi. Vedanta is a philosophy of Self-realization and samadhi, and its practice is Self-realization through yoga, awareness and meditation. Vedanta revolves around one premise: re-establish the silence at the core of our being.  In Vedanta, silence is understood as our own human consciousness – which resides in our hearts and pervades everything in the universe. Vedanta sees pure unity or oneness as the supreme principle in existence. Vedanta meditation aims at returning to this original state of unity and oneness with life, in which all beings abide in the Self within the heart. It takes us direct to the divine presence in the heart.

Vedanta says that the individual soul is one with God. Vedanta says that our true Self, Atman, the inner being, the soul, is our divine nature. The same consciousness that resides at the core of our being pervades the entire universe. It pervade in the flowers, the animals, the stones, the mountains and the stars. To know ourselves is to know God and to become one with God.

Vedanta is generally private, emphasizing individual practice more than group practice. However meditation sessions do occur as part of the satsangs or gatherings that are common in the tradition.

Giten unveils the secrets of Vedanta meditation from which all other meditation systems have emerged. Vedanta is the famous “direct path to enlightenment” of Vedic science, the world’s oldest science of consciousness. Vedic science offers the wisdom of the ancient enlightened masters of India. Vedanta, the path of self-realization, is the spiritual support and goal of the related Vedic disciplines like Ayurveda, yoga and Vedic astrology. Vedanta is the essence and the end of the ancient wisdom of Vedic science of consciousness. Giten will reveal the deepest secrets of the ancient wisdom of Vedanta, which reveals the steps to meditation, spirituality and Samadhi. Giten will also talk about the Vedantic perspective on the important prime issues of the spiritual path, the challenges of awareness, the practice of meditation and the Vedantic view of consciousness and cosmic evolution.

Satsang with Giten is a meeting in love, truth and silence. Satsang with Giten is a direct insight and realization of being.

These satsang weekend also works as a prolonged shaktipat (transmission of spiritual energy), which both creates immediate result – together with effect that becomes obvious during the coming weeks and months after the intensive. When Giten pursued an advanced training in spiritual healing in USA 1984, he was told that he had the capacity to become a seventh chakra healer, a spiritual healer, to act as a catalyst and channel for spiritual energy from the seventh chakra through the heart. The last 30 years has meant to develop and deepen this capacity to an instrument of subtle catalytic effect, which Giten uses in this Satsang series.

Satsang with Giten gathers people from all walks of life. During the last two satsangs seekers and meditators, psychotherapists, medical doctors, nurses, Ayurvedic healers and doctors, film makers from the Swedish television and musicians and music teachers have gathered.

SWAMI DHYAN GITEN, spiritual teacher and best-selling author, has more than 30 years of experience in individual counseling and in teaching awareness and meditation. He is trained in both modern psychology and in classic Eastern methods for awareness and meditation in USA, Italy, Sweden and India.

Giten experienced his first satori, his first glimpse of spiritual awakening, when he was 9 years old. This created a deep thirst and longing in his heart and being to return to this natural and effortless experience of being one with the Whole.

Swami Dhyan Giten has dedicated his life to teach the art of awareness and meditation. He conducts individual consultations, seminars and courses internationally. His quotes, articles and books have touched the hearts of thousands and are appearing with increasing frequency in magazines, blogs and websites.

Since he began to meditate when he was 15 years old, he has dedicated his life to the study and exploration of the inner journey in order to move out of his own way, to be in a flow, and to discover the authentic inner being, the meditative quality within, the inner silence and emptiness, the capacity to surrender to life.

He does not belong to any spiritual group or tradition; he is only interested to explore what it means to live with open eyes.

Giten’s first professional passion when he was 15 years old was to become an actor. After training as an actor, he worked as an actor until he was 23 years old. Working as actor taught him a lot about life and to emphatically understand the situation and life of other people, since acting is really a spiritual occupation. It taught him about spirituality, since working as an actor means to play a role totally, while at the same time as you know deep down that you are not the role you are playing. After working as an actor for a number of years, Giten began to understand that his early passion for theatre was really an unconscious search for a spiritual discipline. When he realized this, he began to feel a thirst to work with people in a more direct way in awareness and meditation.

In 1982, when Giten was 23 years old, he was directed by the Divine presence in a trance session with the American trance chancellor Lin David Martin: “You have listened to your intuition, to your true inner voice, more than most. You have been searching for the contact with the Spirit for a long time and now it is beginning to manifest on the outer plane. You have been gifted many times in previous embodiments and now everything will come rather easy for you. I want you to put your energy into the lives of others, because you can”.

Giten’s student and beloved friend, Satyama Padma, went to see a medium for a consultation. Somehow, they began to talk about Giten and the medium, who had never met Giten, said: “Giten is an old soul.”

His three creative areas to express the mysteries of meditation in outer form are teaching, writing and painting. His meditative art is internationally recognized and have been nominated for the international art exhibition The Florence Biennale in Italy, which is arranged in cooperation with The United Nations.

He is author of the best-selling book in Swedish Meditationens Sång – Om meditation, relationer och andlig kreativitet (Solrosens forlag, 2001, available from Internet book store Adlibris: www.adlibris.com), and The Silent Whisperings of the Heart – An Introduction to Giten’s Approach to Life (2008, available as paperback at Internet book store Lulu.com:www.lulu.com/spotlight/Giten), Presence – Working from Within. The Art of Bliss:

Vedic Tantra Yoga

Seven Tantric Keys to Love, Meditation and Awakening

An advanced satsang day with Giten

Saturday, 7 October, 2017, in Stockholm

SWAMI DHYAN GITEN, spiritual teacher and author, has more than 30 years of experience in individual counseling and in teaching awareness and meditation. He is trained in both modern psychology and in classic Eastern methods for awareness and meditation.

A spiritual teacher, who have counselled thousands of people, told Giten in 1984: “You will dissolve into the silence. All the earlier enlightened Masters and all the small Deva’s are just here to help you to get enlightened.”

Participants in satsang with Giten have commented:

“I have never felt such a strong process. I could never have imagined that the combination of ayurveda and satsang with Giten could start such a strong physical and spiritual process.”– Padma, participant in satsang with Giten

“It was fantastic wonderful to be in Giten’s presence.”– Charlotte Westh Kujawa, Los Angeles and Malmoe, participant in satsang with Giten, November 12, 2015, in Stockholm.

“When I participated in satsang with Giten for the first time, I felt that I had come to the right place. I felt that I had come home. I never thought that a 2-hour satsang could go so deep. The love that I found within myself during satsang with Giten just continued to flow a week after the satsang.”  –Iiris, special education teacher for autistic children and participant in satsang with Moji and Eckhart Tolle

This advanced 1-day satsang with Giten on Vedic Tantra Yoga reflects a new perspective on Tantra, which shows how inner and higher Tantra practice relates to samadhi and awakening.

This advanced 1-day satsang offers a path of personal transformation focused on the connection between sexuality, spirituality and awakening.

The emphasis during this day is on transforming sexuality through sacred and ancient techniques into a spiritual experience.

During this day Giten will show seven tantric keys to love, meditation and awakening.

This advanced 1-day satsang on Vedic Tantra Yoga contain a wealth of deep spiritual wisdom from the ancient Vedic spiritual wisdom not easily available today.

During this day we will explore the following topics: meditation, honoring our inner man and woman, acquiring special knowledge about the navel chakra, the heart chakra and the crown chakra and understanding the three levels of Tantra: sex, love and prayer.

Satsang with Giten is a supportive and loving space, where Giten answers and guides sincere seekers of  love, truth and freedom into the direct experience and realization of being.

This satsang day offers the opportunity for sincere seekers of love and truth to be immersed in the energy field of Satsang – of love, meditation and prayer, and without the usual demands, pressures and distractions of daily life and social interaction. Whilst silence means to keep quiet externally and refrain from contact with those around us, it also means to introvert our attention and rest it in being, in the heart.

Although this may initially bring some resistance, when one persists beyond this, the mind is absorbed into presence.

This satsang day has the power to change your life.

10 STEPS TO ENLIGHTENMENT:

BOOK RELEASE PARTY FOR GITEN’S NEW BOOK

“SILENCE IS THE WAY: THE TEACHINGS OF BUDDHA”

17 June, 2017, in Stockholm

To the background of dancing tunes of jazz music, the book release party for Giten’s new book “Silence is the Way: The Teachings of Buddha” began with a walking table with superb ecological strawberry lemonade with delicious homemade ecological chocolate balls and mazarine cakes.

Then Giten talked about Buddha’s 10 steps to enlightenment. Giten said that with each of the ten steps to enlightement the meditator achieves deeper realizations of emptiness in meditation. If you understand and practice these ten steps, you will attain to the ultimate. These ten steps are the Bodhisattva path to enlightenment.

Satyama Padma commented: “I have searched for truth my whole life, so what we talked about this evening was really exciting.”

Giten’s new book “Silence is the Way” is about the teachings of Buddha, which includes Giten’s own insights into this exciting journey and meditation of life. The book is a compilation of lectures during satsang with Giten on the teachings of Buddha. Satsang with Giten on Buddha is not about Buddhism, it is about creating a bridge. Buddha is one of the most unique and important spiritual masters that have existed on Earth. Through using Buddha’s wisdom as a jumping board, Giten gives life to words that has the power to change how we see the World.

The evening ended with silent satsang with Giten, which created a deep silence, emptiness and wholeness.

Giten’s new book is available at the international book site Lulu:

Song of the Divine

Vedic Science

– The Spiritual Science of Consciousness

Satsang Weekend with Giten

8 – 10 September, 2017

“Giten has it. Giten do a beautiful work with satsang. Enlightened or not, I do not care. Giten has a quality, a certain capacity to act as a transmitter for spiritual energy, which can light your own energy. Before I did not think that it was possible to get enlightened, but now I think that it is possible.”

– Satyama Padma, Stockholm

“Satsang weekend with Giten was like coming home. I went into samadhi three times during the satsang weekend – and I also got a map and an understanding for how to go into samadhi again.”

  – Satyama Padma, participant in Satsang weekend with Giten, December 9-11, 2016, in Stockholm

During this satsang weekend, Giten will give a broad compendium of insight and wisdom that reaches into all aspects of life and all domains of human culture. Vedic science – the spiritual science of consciousness is the ancient and universal root of many of the worlds’s religions and mystical traditions. Vedic science and knowledge presents a complete system of spiritual science, including all the practices of Yoga and meditation as part of a rich field of spiritual culture. As such it represents the song of the divine and the cosmic intelligence.

This satsang weekend will cover topics as meditation, disovering your true Self, the inner being, the inner source of love and truth, the different systems of Yoga and meditation, the universal meaning of Vedic science and wisdom, the Vedic view of society, learning to live according to your Dharma, to learn to live in accord with your true Self, the science of karma and rebirth, Ayurveda and Vedic astrology.

This satsang weekend with Giten may be the most accesible and relevant overview of the ancient spiritual wisdom and tradition of India and its clearest presentation to the modern mind.

This satsang weekend will be especially of interest to the large group of people involved with spirituality, meditation, health and yoga, as Giten will also talk about what underlies the Kundalini Yoga approach to the human energy system. During these satsang evenings Giten will deliver the ancient eternal wisdom in the context of personal growth and transformation.

Satsang with Giten is a meeting in love, truth and silence. Satsang with Giten is a direct insight and realization of being.

This satsang weekend also works as a prolonged shaktipat (transmission of spiritual energy), which both creates immediate result – together with effect that becomes obvious during the coming weeks and months after the intensive. When Giten pursued an advanced training in spiritual healing in USA 1984, he was told that he had the capacity to become a seventh chakra healer, a spiritual healer, to act as a catalyst and channel for spiritual energy from the seventh chakra through the heart. Satsang with Giten gathers people from all walks of life. During the last two satsangs seekers and meditators, psychotherapists, medical doctors, nurses, Ayurvedic healers and doctors, film makers from the Swedish television and musicians and music teachers have gathered.

Giten is also available for individual consultations in personal and spiritual guidance in Stockholm, 700:-/1 hour. Booking and information: swami.dhyan.giten(a)gmail.com

During this satsang weekend we will study the following topics:

MEDITATION

How meditation is the most important treatment to regain balance and health. The basic cause of physical imbalance and disease are to lose contact with your soul, with your spiritual purpose in life. Meditation is to come in contact with your soul, with the inner silence, which is the inner source of healing and wholeness.

THE CHAKRA SYSTEM AND CHAKRA INVESTIGATION

Understanding the chakra system and discover the interconnections between the chakras, physical organs and emotions. Dissolution of ego is the key to develop chakras, because ego creates the constriction of energy that prevents chakras from functioning.

VEDIC SCIENCE

The ancient Vedic science of consciousness is the oldest and most extensive approach to life. The Vedic science is based upon the experience of thousands of years of enlightened masters of India. As such, the Vedic approach is both unique and universal, and presents us with extraordinary and powerful tools to enable us to shape our lives according to the highest Self-awareness. Those that are willing to study and apply the Vedic system with dedication and commmitment, are bound to discover the greater reality and energy of the whole of life accessible to them in their every breath and behind every thought. This greater potential that we have does not merely consist of a new science and technology but of being able to create “a new human being” rooted in a higher consciousness that is one with all.

The Vedic approach to life is as an organic unfoldment of a unitary consciousness is returning through related Vedic disciplines of yoga, Ayurveda, Vedic astrology and Tantra.

Millions have come in contact with one or more of these Vedic teachings, though few may know the complete Vedic system behind them. Yet that background hold greater depth and power than any of its important branches.

The Vedic approach rests upon a special view of the human being, life, nature and consciousness that can be very different from what we find in modern psychology, philosophy, medicine and science. It reflect a profound spiritual philosophy, psychology and cosmology interwoven together at the core of our being. This knowledge is not simply theoretical in nature but reflects a profound ascertainment of how the universe operates both externally and in our own psyche.

The Vedic approach helps us to establish what we could call a Vedic Life, which is a life in harmony with the universal Dharma. The Vedic approach is based upon the Vedic laws of right living, which are also the laws of the Dharma – how to live in harmony with the greater conscious universe and with respect for the sacred nature of all life. A Vedic life links us to the universal life and asks us to honor all living beings.

Vedic science is a qualitative science, that reveals and unfolds the sacred and immeasurable – the essence of life. Vedic science encompass all the ordinary sciences including physics, astronomy, biology, medicine and psychology. Vedic science do not exclude the knowledge and discoveries made by modern science, but seek to integrate these into a higher science of consciousness. The Vedic view is that whatever knowledge we have externally of name, form or number is incomplete if we do not know our own inner essence, being and consciousness that are beyond all quantification. Vedic science teaches us how to access and live in our higher Self and being. As such, Vedic knowledge leads us to a quantum leap in awareness, a revolution in higher consciousness and a greater integration with the universe. Vedic knowledge adresses the total human being as a reflection of the greater universe of matter, life, mind and consciousness.

During this satsang weekend we will study the following topics:

– The Divine Within: Veda -The Eternal Philosophy

– The religion of Truth: Living according to your Dharma, living according to your true Self, living according to your love, joy and truth

– Dharma and karma and the science of rebirth. Karma – Cause and effect

– Vedic Astrology – The Science of Light

– Vedic Social Science: The structure of the spiritual and human society

– Towards a global culture: Creating the Foundations for a true spiritual and human culture

– The four stages of Life

– Vedic cosmology: The Multidimensional Universe

Dharmic Philosophies – Theories of Truth

– Samadhi and liberation

AYURVEDA AND YOGA: THE TWO ANCIENT SPIRITUAL SCIENCES

Understanding how yoga, meditation and Ayurveda together form a complete approach for optimal health, vitality and higher awareness. Yoga and Ayurveda reveals to us the secret powers of the body, breath, senses, mind and chakras. More importantly, it unfolds transformational methods to work on them through diet, herbs, asana, pranayama and meditation – covering the entire range of our life and experience. It shows how the two spiritual systems work together in bringing harmony and well-being to body, mind and soul. The goal of Ayurveda is self-healing and the goal of Yoga is self-liberation and samadhi. We will study all the steps in yoga from concentration and meditation to samadhi. Understanding the two spiritual systems Ayurveda and Yoga will transform our whole Life.

During this satsang weekend we will study the different paths of yoga: The yoga och knowledge, the yoga of devotion, Hatha Yoga, Tantra, karma yoga – the yoga of service and Raja yoga.

VEDANTA

Giten will talk about Vedanta, which is the world’s oldest meditation path. Vedanta is the philosophy of self-realization and samadhi. Darshan with Giten: Grace, Love and Truth Go Together – Initiation with Satayama Padma, 2016-10-07

LOVE, TRUTH AND GRACE GO TOGETHER

INITIATION WITH GITEN:

SATYAMA PADMA

NOVEMBER, 7,  2016

Darshan with Giten with on November 7 was both a birthday and a new birth when Toshen’s birthday was celebrated and she was also initiated by Giten.

Toshen is initiated and is born again to the spiritual path. Giten gave her a new name and a a personal meaning to her name, which is a spiritual guidance for life.

Giten told Toshen during the initiation: Your new name is Satyama Padma. Satyama is your path, which means truth. Padma is your individual name, which means a lotus flower of God’s grace, love and light. The meaning of your whole name is a lotus flower of God’s grace, truth, love and light.

The lotus flower is an ancient symbol of the ultimate unfolding of consciousness.

The lotus flower is the most beautiful flower in the East, the most fragrant, and it has become the symbol of ultimate awakening, ultimate awareness and ultimate flowering.

The highest peak of your being is thought to be like a lotus flower.

The lotus flower has become the spiritual flower for certain reasons. One is that it grows out of the mud. It is such a revolution to see the mud, and the lotus growing out of it.

Padma commented that the initiation was a gift and Deva Emanuel said that there was an underlying silence during the whole evening.

The birthday and initiation was celebrated with exquisite ecological cake and delicious ecological strawberry lemonade.

As birthday and initiation gifts Padma received a dress from the Italian designer Missoni, whose exquisite design and colours was like a lotus flower.

She also received Giten’s book “The Language of Silence: From Darkness to Light” and two necklaces that emphasized the lotus as the symbol of enlightenment.

Padma commented that this initiation was a new beginning to her life.

Both Giten and Padma also received beautiful pink roses, whose fragrance was like a scent from heaven.

The next darshan Giten will be a combined Christmas celebration with satsang in December.

Satsang Weekend with Giten: Divine Healing, December 9-11, 2016

Initiering, Samarpan, Giten, kram
Satsang Weekend
with Giten:

Divine Healing

Healing from Within:
Ayurvedic healing, Ayurvedic psychology and Ayurvedic spirituality and self-realization

9-11 december, 2016

“Healing basically comes from the silence within.”

– Swami Dhyan Giten

“The basic cause of physical imbalance and disease is to lose contact with your soul, with your spiritual purpose in life.”

– Swami Dhyan Giten

“Meditation is the most important treatment to regain balance and health. Meditation is to come in contact with your soul, with the inner silence, which is the inner source of healing and wholeness.”

– Swami Dhyan Giten

“Mental and physical disease are often caused by a lack of love.”
– Swami Dhyan Giten

“The presence of a healer whose presence and spiritual energy is awakened is healing.”
– Swami Dhyan Giten

“Touch is the way through which the healing is conveyed between the healer and the client.”
– Swami Dhyan Giten

“The healer´s presence and spiritual energy can awaken the vitality and life force of the client, which creates healing.”
– Swami Dhyan Giten

During this satsang weekend, Giten will give an overview of the Eastern science behind the energy centers in the human body that are called chakras. It is a science that underlies traditional Chinese medicine, Indian Ayurveda, Tibetan medicine and the practice of kundalini yoga, among other disciplines that recognize the deep connection between mind and body.

We will also explore how these principles apply to understanding the natural healing power of the body, mind and consciousness, how they apply to human psychological growth and maturation and the evolution of consciousness.

This Satsang Weekend will be especially of interest to the large group of people involved with spirtuality, meditation, health and yoga, as Giten will talk about what underlies the Kundalini Yoga approach to the human energy system. During these satsang evenings Giten will deliver the ‘esoteric science’ and understanding in the context of personal growth and transformation.

During this satsang weekend, we will explore the following topics:

– MEDITATION: How meditation is the most important treatment to regain balance and health. The basic cause of physical imbalance and disease are to lose contact with your soul, with your spiritual purpose in life. Meditation is to come in contact with your soul, with the inner silence, which is the inner source of healing and wholeness.

– HEALING: Reconecting with our inner silence,  the inner source of healing, which activates the natural healing power of the body, mind and consciouseness.

– CHAKRAS: Understanding the chakra system and discover the interconnections between the chakras, physical organs and emotions. Dissolution of ego is the key to develop chakras, because ego creates the constriction of energy that prevents chakras from functioning.

– AYURVEDIC HEALING offers the wisdom of this ancient system of mind-body medicine.  Ayurveda is one of the world’s oldest and most comprehensive systems of natural medicine. During these satsang evenings Giten will describe the foundations and principles of Ayurveda. Topics covered include diet and digestion, toxic build-up, purification therapies and the effects of the emotions and thinking on health. He will also talk about Ayurvedic treatment for all the main common diseases of the systems of the body from the digestive system to the nervous system and mind.

– HEALING OF THE HEART: PHYSICAL AND EMOTIONAL CAUSES OF IMBALANCE AND DISEASE: Imbalance and physical disease are caused both by psychological, emotional and physical causes. If you are struggling with pain from the past that is preventing you from experiencing happiness in the present, now is the time to release this emotional toxicity and set yourself free. Emotional pain takes many forms: the grief of loss, overwhelming stress and anxiety, depression, job burnout, feeling stuck, heart break, regret, the inability to trust, anger, and worry about the future. In the face of difficulty, most of us do our best to cope with the situation, hold it together, and keep going, but we often end up carrying emotional pain that we don’t know how to heal or release.

AYURVEDIC PSYCHOLOGY: Exploring the psychological aspect of Ayurveda. Exploring how to heal the mind, body and consciousness on all levels from the conscious, the subconscious to the superconscious through diet, and many spiritual methods to create wholeness.
AYURVEDIC SPIRITUALITY, SELF-REALIZATION AND ENLIGHTENMENT: Ayurveda includes not only physical health, but also spirituality, self-realization and enlightenment. Ayurvedic spirituality and self-realization addresses our entire nature, our greater life as a spiritual being. It looks at the the entire field of yoga and meditation and our preparation for spiritual life. This is for people who want to explore issues on a deeper level of knowledge than what is usually described in introductory books on these subjects.

Satsang with Giten is a meeting in love, truth and silence. Satsang with Giten is a direct insight and realization of being.

Satsang begins with a lecture, interactive dialogue with questions and answers and ends with silent satsang. In satsangs during the autumn a deep silence and untiy has arises in the satsang group.

This Satsang Intensive also works as a prolonged shaktipat (transmission of spiritual energy), which both creates immediate result – together with effect that becomes obvious during the coming weeks and months after the intensive.

His three creative areas to express the mysteries of meditation in outer form are teaching, writing and painting. His meditative art is internationally recognized and have been nominated for the international art exhibition The Florence Biennale in Italy, which is arranged in cooperation with The United Nations.

He is author of the best-selling book in Swedish Meditationens Sång – Om meditation, relationer och andlig kreativitet (Solrosens forlag, 2001, available from Internet book store Adlibris: www.adlibris.com), and The Silent Whisperings of the Heart – An Introduction to Giten’s Approach to Life (2008, available as paperback at Internet book store Lulu.com:www.lulu.com/spotlight/Giten)Presence – Working from Within. Satsang with Giten: Hassidism, Kabbalah and Jewish Mysticism, August 11, 2016

Initiering, Samarpan, Giten, kram

SATSANG

 WITH

GITEN:

THE ART OF DYING

 – HASSIDISM, KABBALAH AND JEWISH MYSTICISM

Satsang with Giten, August 11, 2016
I was totally shaken when I came home after satsang with Giten.”
– Toshen, participant in satsang, August 18, 2016

We will be talking about Hassidism, but first a few basic remarks as an introduction.

One has to come in immediate contact with truth, heart to heart. Nothing should be allowed between the two: your heart and reality.

Once you understand who you are, once you go deep into your emptiness, and you are not scared, once you accept the inner death, you have arrived at what Buddha calls “nirvana”.

When you enter within yourself, you will feel like you are entering into a space where you are going to be lost – just as a drop of water entering the ocean is lost.

You will be lost; that is the fear.

That is why you become afraid of death.

Entry into your being is always like death.

It is a crucifixion, it is a cross.

Only very rare and courageous souls, who can take the risk of being lost, arrive.

You have to lose yourself to gain.

Once you are ready to enter into the emptiness, suddenly the fear disappears.

The same energy becomes joy and celebration.

You can dance because that which appeared as emptiness was just an interpretation of the mind.

It was not empty.

Once you enter into your inner being, the mind cannot understand.

If you move withinwards and you come across the inner emptiness, you will die.

That is the meaning of Jesus crucifixion and resurrection.

He is resurrected to a new life.

About Hassidism: The word “hasid” comes from the Hebrew word, which means “pure” or grace.

The whole standpoint of Hassidism is based on grace. It is not that “you” do someting – life is already happening, you just be silent, passive, alert, receiving.

God comes through his grace, not through your effort.

Hassidism believes in life, in joy.

Hassidism is one of the religions in the world, which is life-affirmative.

It has no reunciation in it.

Rather, you have to celebrate life.

The founder of Hassidism, Baal-Shem, is reported to have said: “I have come to teach a new way. It is not fasting and penenace, but a joy in God.”

Hassidism is the heart of Judaism. Hassidism is the mystical tradition of Judaism.

The Hasids loves life, tries to experience life.

That very experience start giving you a balance. And in that balance, some day, when you are really balanced, neither leaning on this side nor leaning on that side, when you are exactly in the middle, you transcend.

The middle is the beyond. If you really want to know what existence is, it is neither in life nor in death. Life is one extreme, death is another extreme. It is just exactly in the middle, where neither life is nor death is, where one is simply unborn, deathless.

In that moment of balance, grace descends.

Hassidism is to find the true joy of life. Hassidism is not a path of meditation, it is a path of love, joy and prayer.

The whole approach of Hassidism is not to choose any extreme, just to remain in the middle, not getting identified with either – just remaining free and joyously enjoying both.

If life comes, enjoy life, if death comes, enjoy death.

Hassidism teaches life in community.

It says that man is not an island, man is not an ego.

Man should live in a community.

Life is in love, life is in flow, in giving, taking and sharing you grow.

To live in a community is to live in love, to live in a community is to live in love, to live in a community is to live in a committment, caring for others.

Love more and you will be more.

There are many religions which are very self-centered, they only think of the self. They only think about how I should become liberated.

Hassdism says that the best way to drop the ego is to live in a community.

It is live with people, to be concerned with people, with their joy, with their sadness, with their happiness, with their life, and with their death.

Create a concern for others, be involved.

Hassidism uses community life as a device.

Hassidism celebrates the small things of life – eating, drinking – and then everything takes the quality of prayer.

The ordinaries of life is no longer ordinary. It is suffused with divine grace.

– Swami Dhyan Giten
