SAMADHI

1-Day Satsang with Giten

An advanced satsang day on Vedanta meditation

Saturday, July 22, 2017 in Stockholm

“Lovely … Very true experience.”

– Sanjayteacher Sen, India

“Giten has it. Giten do a beautiful work with satsang. Enlightened or not, I do not care. Giten has a quality, a certain capacity to act as a transmitter for spiritual energy, which can lighten your own energy. Before I did not think that it was possible to get enlightened, but now I think that it is possible.”

 – Satyama Padma, Stockholm

“Earlier truth was my path and what I lived for, but then I lost the truth – but I found the truth again in satsang with Giten.”

– Satyama Padma, participant in the 1-dag Satsang day on Giten’s birthday

“Satsang weekend with Giten was like coming home. I went into samadhi three times during the satsang weekend – and I also got a map and an understanding for how to go into samadhi again.”

– Satyama Padma, participant in Satsang weekend with Giten, December 9-11, 2016, in Stockholm

“Hallelujah! The 1-day Satsang with Giten was

fantastic. Magic. I left the Satsang, so in love with life. Happiness. I only feel love.

Satsang with Giten is a rich and warm emptiness. I want to give Giten all love and my warmest thank you. Giten and the Satsang has given me so much. I have never been so close to happiness before. In many moment, life has become complete. I am very happy that the Satsang in continuing in April.”

-Prem Mukta, participant in Giten’s Satsang Intensive, February 15, in Stockholm

“The silent Satsang yesterday felt strong. Almost immediately when we sat down in silent Satsang, I was filled with an energy so strong that it felt like I was surrounded by an almost physical energy field.

I almost felt like I was going to levitate, like the energy was so compact that I could not sit still on the floor. It was like the Satsang danced, it was living its own life. It felt ancient, powerful and beyond control. And in the middle of everything, a loud and wild laughter grow, which I had to fight to keep back. It felt like I would never stop laughing if I began.

When Giten sounded the bell that the Satsang was over, I had to concentrate to come back in one piece, remind the body of the frame, and remind the head of the room, of the here and now.

After a while, it worked, and the effect was that I felt happy, calm and full of love after Satsang.

– Prem Mukta, Stockholm

SWAMI DHYAN GITEN, spiritual teacher and author, has more than 30 years of experience in individual counseling and in teaching awareness and meditation. He is trained in both modern psychology and in classic Eastern methods for awareness and meditation.

In 1982, when Giten was 23 years old, he was directed by the Divine presence in a trance session with the American trance chancellor Lin David Martin: “You have listened to your intuition, to your true inner voice, more than most. You have been searching for the contact with the Spirit for a long time and now it is beginning to manifest on the outer plane. You have been gifted many times in previous embodiments and now everything will come rather easy for you. I want you to put your energy into the lives of others, because you can”.

A spiritual teacher, who have counselled thousands of people, told Giten in 1984: “You will dissolve into the silence. All the earlier enlightened Masters and all the small Deva’s are just here to help you to get enlightened.”

Participants in satsang with Giten have commented:

“I have never felt such a strong process. I could never have imagined that the combination of ayurveda and satsang with Giten could start such a strong physical and spiritual process.”

– Padma, participant in satsang with Giten

“It was fantastic wonderful to be in Giten’s presence.”

– Charlotte Westh Kujawa, Los Angeles and Malmoe, participant in satsang with Giten, November 12, 2015, in Stockholm.

“When I participated in satsang with Giten for the first time, I felt that I had come to the right place. I felt that I had come home. I never thought that a 2-hour satsang could go so deep. The love that I found within myself during satsang with Giten just continued to flow a week after the satsang.”  –Iiris, special education teacher for autistic children and participant in satsang with Moji and Eckhart Tolle

This satsang day is Giten’s invitation to sincere seekers after love, truth and freedom, who wants to discover their own authentic inner being, the inner silence and emptiness, the inner source of love and truth, the capacity to surrender to life.

Satsang with Giten is a supportive and loving space, where Giten answers and guides sincere seekers of  love, truth and freedom into the direct experience and realization of being.

Giten will also talk about Vedanta, which is the world’s oldest meditation path. Vedanta is the philosophy of self-realization and samadhi. Vedanta is a philosophy of Self-realization and samadhi, and its practice is Self-realization through yoga, awareness and meditation.Vedanta revolves around one premise: re-establish the silence at the core of our being.  In Vedanta, silence is understood as our own human consciousness – which resides in our hearts and pervades everything in the universe. Vedanta sees pure unity or oneness as the supreme principle in existence. Vedanta meditation aims at returning to this original state of unity and oneness with life, in which all beings abide in the Self within the heart. It takes us direct to the divine presence in the heart.

Vedanta says that the individual soul is one with God. Vedanta says that our true Self, Atman, the inner being, the soul, is our divine nature. The same consciousness that resides at the core of our being pervade the entire universe. It pervade in the flowers, the animals, the stones, the mountains and the stars. To know ourselves is to know God and to become one with God.

Vedanata is generally private, emphasizing individual practice more than group practice. However meditation sessions do occur as part of the satsangs or gatherings that are common in the tradition.

During this 1-day satsang, Giten unveils the secrets of Vedanta meditation from which all other meditation systems have emerged. Vedanta is the famous “direct path to enlightenment” of Vedic science, the world’s oldest science of consciousness. Vedic science offers the wisdom of the ancient enlightened masters of India. Vedanta, the path of self-realization, is the spiritual support and goal of the related Vedic disciplines like Ayurveda, yoga and Vedic astrology. Vedanta is the essence and the end of the ancient wisdom of Vedic science of consciousness. Giten will reveal the deepest secrets of the ancient wisdom of Vedant, which reveals the steps to meditation, spirituality and samadhi. Giten will also talk about the Vedantic perspective on the important prime issues of the spiritual path, the challenges of awareness, the practice of meditation and the Vedantic view of consciousness and cosmic evolution.

This satsang day offers the opportunity for sincere seekers of love and truth to be immersed in the energy field of Satsang – of love, meditation and prayer, and without the usual demands, pressures and distractions of daily life and social interaction. Whilst silence means to keep quiet externally and refrain from contact with those around us, it also means to introvert our attention and rest it in being, in the heart.

Although this may initially bring some resistance, when one persists beyond this, the mind is absorbed into presence.

This satsang day has the power to change your life.

“Existence is Consciousness”: From 1-Dag Satsang with Giten on April 15, 2017, in Stockholm

Giten, foto, gul tröja, sittande på gren

“Existence

is consciousness.

The trees, the birds, the animals and the mountains are expressions of  divine intelligence.”

– Swami Dhyan Giten,

From 1-day Satsang, April 16, 2017, in Stockholm

Love is a deep desire to bless the whole Existence

Love is the radiance, the fragrance of knowing oneself, of being oneself.

Love is overflowing joy.

Love is when you have seen that you are not separate from Existence.

Love is not a relationship, love is a state of being.

Fear is the opposite of love. In love, one expands. In fear, one shrinks. In fear, one becomes closed. In love, one opens.

In fear, one doubts. In love, one trusts.

Do not be afraid, this Existence is not your enemy. This existence loves you, this existence is ready to support you in any way.

Trust and you will feel a new overflowing energy. That energy is love. That energy wants to bless the whole existence. Because of this energy, one feels blessed.

Love is a deep desire to bless the whole Existence.

“Satsang weekend with Giten was like coming home. I went into samadhi three times during the satsang weekend – and I also got a map and an understanding for how to go into samadhi again.”

Buddha says:

SPEAK OR ACT WITH AN IMPURE MIND

AND TROUBLE WILL FOLLOW YOU

AS THE WHEEL FOLLOWS THE OX THAT DRIVES THE CART

When Buddha uses the concept “impure mind”, he means mind.

Mind is impure, and no-mind is pure.

SPEAK OR ACT WITH AN IMPURE MIND means to speak or act from the mind.

AND TROUBLE WILL FOLLOW YOU means that misery and suffering is the result of the mind, because the mind means unawareness.

Mind will bring trouble and suffering as certain AS THE WHEEL FOLLOWS THE OX THAT DRIVES THE CART.

WE ARE WHAT WE THINK

ALL THAT WE ARE ARISES WITH OUR THOUGHTS

SPEAK OR ACT WITH A PURE MIND

AND HAPPINESS WILL FOLLOW YOU

AS YOUR SHADOW, UNSHAKABLE

When Buddha says “pure mind”, he means no-mind, awareness.

Happiness will follow you if you have a pure mind or no-mind.

Suffering is a result of mind, of unawareness, happiness is a result of no-mind, of awareness.

Happiness cannot be searched for directly, happiness can only be found if you do not search it directly.

On the contrary, you have to search for awareness.

When awareness comes, happiness comes of its own accord.

“LOOK HOW HE ABUSED ME AND BEAT ME,

HOW HE THREW ME DOWN AND ROBBED ME”

LIVE WITH SUCH THOUGHTS AND YOU LIVE IN HATE

“LOOK HOW HE ABUSED ME AND BEAT ME

HOW HE THREW ME DOWN AND ROBBED ME”

ABANDON SUCH THOUGHTS AND LIVE IN LOVE

Fear and hate exists in the past and the future, love exists in the moment, in the here and now.

Love exists in the present moment.

Fear and hate has a reference in the past.

Somebody has abused you in the past, and you are carrying it like a wound.

Fear and hate is a limitation. If you hate somebody, you also create a hate in the heart of that person towards you.

The world lives in fear, hate, destructiveness and violence.

Hate creates hell on earth, love creates a paradise on earth.

True love comes from your inner being.

It is spontaneously welling up of joy, which has nothing to do with the past or the future.

True love is in the moment.

IN THIS WORLD

HATE NEVER YET DISPELLED HATE

ONLY LOVE DISPELS HATE

THIS IS THE LAW

ANCIENT AND INEXHAUSTIBLE

Hate never dispels hate, darkness cannot dispel darkness.

Only love can dispel hate.

The eternal law is that only love dispels hate, only light dispels darkness.

Bring light into a room and the darkness disappears by itself.

How can you bring light into your own being?

Through becoming silent, aware, awake and conscious.

That is how to bring the light in.

The moment you are aware and awake, hate will not be found.

It is not possible to hate somebody with awareness.

You can only hate somebody in unawareness.

When you are conscious, hate disappears, when you are not conscious, then hate is there.

Love and hate, light and darkness, cannot exist together, because hate is the absence of love, darkness is the absence of light.

YOU TOO SHALL PASS AWAY

KNOWING THIS, HOW CAN YOU QUARREL

We waste our life in quarreling, in conflict, when life is so short.

Use your whole energy for awareness and meditation.

Then you can become a light.

Meditation will make you awake, because you will discover your inner being.

Meditation brings an awakening.

For the first time you will feel the truth of your own being.

Quotes by Swami Dhyan Giten

The reason that people start wars is because they still believe in their separation from life. But when you experience the wholeness with all living beings, you understand that hurting somebody else is just hurting yourself as we are all one on the spiritual level.

The mother is the child’s first relationship, his whole world, his existence. If there is love in the relationship between the child and the mother, the child learns to trust himself, to trust others and to trust life. If there is no love in the relationship between the mother and the child, the child learns to distrust himself, to distrust others and to distrust life.

Give the child a taste of meditation by creating a climate and atmosphere of love, acceptance and silence.

The most precious gift that you can give to the child is unconditional love and acceptance, which allows the child to discover his own inner being, his authentic self, his freedom to be himself.

When we are, love is not. When we are not, love is.

The inner emptiness is the door to God.

When you come to the ultimate experience in meditation, when you come to your deepest core, you are no one. You are a vast emptiness. You can become afraid in meditation, because the deeper you go in meditation, the more you realize that you are nobody, a nothingness. It is a death of the ego. That is why people become afraid of meditation.

The deepest realization of meditation is that your being is a non-being. It is a nothing, a vast emptiness without boundaries. It is a no-self. The feeling of self, of I is false.

The inner woman is the source of healing. The inner woman is the source of silence. The inner woman is the source of love. The inner woman is the source of belongingness with life. Embracing the inner man and woman is to discover our inner roots and wings.

The heart is the door to our inner woman. The heart is the door to our inner world. The power chakra relates to the inner man. The power chakra relates to the outer world. Irrespective of if we are a man or a woman, the inner woman is the center of our consciousness.

When we stop judging others and ourselves, our heart begins to open.

The human heart is a healer, which heals both others and ourselves.

The human heart operates from two premises: I Am Responsible and Only Love Works.

In the depth of our heart, we already know that we are perfect as we are. In the depth of our inner being, we already know that life is perfect as it is.

A good man cares about others. A good man has not only selfish desires. He is not only centered in himself. A bad man has no concern for others. He has only selfish concerns. He is centered in his own world.

Love makes you feel at home in existence.

Love never ends.

To be able to die consciously, we need to prepare for death while we are still living.

Only if we live consciously, we can die consciously.

Only a meditator is able to die consciously as life is an opportunity to prepare for death. Meditation is a death, a death of the ego.

Despite 2000 years of evolution in modern times, we have still not managed to develop the intelligence to create a society that knows what love is. Our society is still not a civilization, it is still primitive and barbaric.

Deep within ourselves, we find the inner being, the inner source of love, which is our true nature. Love is the only reality, because only love works.

Acceptance is to love and embrace everything that we find within ourselves like a mother embraces her child.

The hardest time in this world is for the sensitive and intelligent people.

Satsang with Giten on Buddha:

Bhumis – 10 Steps to Enlightenment

From satsang with Giten, February 4, 2016, in Stockholm

What are Bhumis? Buddha’s Way has ten Bhumis. Bhumi means ground, foundation or level of development.

The first Bhumi is attained when the meditator achieves his first insight into emptiness in meditation. With each of the ten Bhumis the meditator achieves deeper realization of emptiness in meditation.

Buddha has said that if you understand and practice these ten grounds, you will attain to the ultimate. The Bhumis are the Bodhisattva path to enlightenment.

1. PRAMU-GITA: The first Bhumi – Joyousness

The first Bhumi, the first ground, is joyousness.

Pramu-Gita means joyousness, delight, and celebration.

The first Bhumi is called Joyousness, because the meditator  also works at developing generosity, the first Paramita, the first of the ten provisions on the spiritual path. The ten Bhumis and the ten Paramitas are developed simultaneously.

People have thought that Buddha is a sad and pessimistic thinker, because he says that life is suffering, but he is not.

Buddha says: Unless you are joyous, you will never reach to truth.

Only joy can take you to truth.

Truth brings joy, truth brings happiness.

The first Bhumi means: to be joyous for no outer reason.

Ordinarily to be joyous has a reason, but if your joy has a cause, it will soon turn into unhappiness.

The first Bhumi is about joy without any cause, and then joy becomes your own source happiness, which nobody can take away.

Buddha says that the frist Bhumi is about the awareness, where you create joy and happiness for yourself.

This book is a compilation of Swami Dhyan Giten’s lectures on Jesus Christ during satsang between May – July, 2015, in Stockholm.

Giten was a disciple of Jesus in a former life.

In this book Giten talks about the beauty and wisdom of the words of Jesus.

Giten talks about Jesus, the Man, Jesus, the Mystic and Jesus, the Rebel. He makes a clear distinction between Jesus Christ and the religion that has been built around him – Christianity.

Through talking about the gospels of Matthew, Luke and John, Giten reintroduces Jesus as the man, the mystic and the compromiseless rebel, who are filled with love and compassion. Jesus becomes alive in a new and dynamic way and not in the way that Jesus has been presented to us by the theologians and the priests.

Giten talks about love, joy, trust, acceptance, healing, truth, the need to serve, the difference between being and ego, wisdom, silence and God.

For the first time, we really feel the laughter, passion, silence and celebration of life in Jesus, which shows us the deeper meaning, the timeless relevance.

This book is a a joy and a delight for those in love with the words of Jesus.

In-between the lectures on Jesus Christ, Giten answer questions on spiritual growth from seekers of truth.

Giten has also complemented the lectures on Jesus with The Art of Living, which includes practical meditation exercises.
